Roman Camomile

Roman Camomile is a very special type of camomile. The name “Roman” was given to define its superior quality compared to common camomile. Distillation of its blossoms in a steam flow yields a distillate whose principal active ingredient is Apigenin, a flavonoid with soothing, anti-allergic and de-reddening properties. Apigenin renders the capillaries less fragile, encourages the reabsorption of swelling and inflammation, and fights telangiectasias (blemishes resulting from dilated blood vessels that can be seen just below the skin surface), which are very frequent in case of cellulite and/or of circulatory disorders in the lower limbs.
