Italian Helichrysum

Italian Helichrysum, a purely Italian aromatic plant (as its botanical name implies), is a perennial herbaceous plant. It is 30-40 cm tall, and common in dry uncultivated areas. Its distinctive feature is its covering of thick whitish fuzz that gives off a characteristic odour. The flowered tops of the Italian Helichrysum are used by the phytocosmetic sector for their remarkable protective, toning and decongesting properties, especially to treat sensitive or reddened skin, rosacea, irritation and swelling around the eyes, and to enhance the firmness and elasticity of the deep dermal layers.
